GETTING SAD…..CLOSE TO TIME TO LEAVE
Tomorrow is my last day to work here at the Methodist Home, and I am already getting sad. This is the hard part of being a NOMAD. You get to know great people, but then you have to leave.
But good news! I finished painting the office, and I think all the clean-up work is done. Tomorrow, I’ll walk around again and look to see if any blue paint is still peaking through. Meanwhile, I have started the small bathroom that is on the floor. There’s just enough paint left to do a very small room, and that bathroom fits the bill!
Tonight, I am going over to the Sullivan Cottage and have brownies and ice cream with the girls there. Yum! These girls are aged 12 to 17. They are quite a happy group, and I’m looking forward to visiting with them. In yesterday’s picture, their group mom is the lady on the right.
That’s about it for now. I’ll talk to you later.

P.S. Here's the dining room. Today's meal was roast or fried pork chops, mashed potatoes, sweet peas, broccoli, rice, rolls, peach cobbler, key lime cake, devil's food cake, all the salad fixings, and ice cream. I did not have everything. :) :) :)
