Life on the Lake

TRAVELING FROM SELMA, AL, TO LAKE LINCOLN STATE PARK, MS
Back to Full Blog

I did not travel to Biloxi today like planned. It dawned on me that I was getting in a rut….a very nice rut, but maybe I should try something new. So, instead of going south to the Gulf of Mexico, heading west, and then turning north for home, I decided to go slightly south and then head west to home. (There’s no interstate that way, but the map showed some nice roads.)

And the roads were nice. And it was fun. I was heading for a city RV park, but then I saw this sign for a state park I had read about last night. So, I took the exit, and it turned out to be a winner! Look at what Mississippi means by a lake!!!

And here’s my RV site……

And then here’s a picture of a mother and child at the beach. There’s just something about this picture that is so neat. Hope you like it too.

Ya’ll take care. I don’t know what park I’ll be in tomorrow. I’ll let you know, though.

Suzanne

P.S. Today, I passed by two signs of interest…..one directed you to Soso, MS, and the other directed you to Hot Coffee, MS.
